I just got a phone call, right now at 12:36 am. I thought it was about my father in law, that something happened to him (he's been in and out of the hospital for the last couple of weeks).

These kids called, of course, under a private name/number, and started singing "happy birthday". Thinking it was a mistake, as my birthday is in 4 days, I waited til they were through, and said "hello". Supposedly, they had the wrong number, but I have a suspicion they didn't. Me thinks it's one of my daughter's ex boyfriend's buddies pulling a midnight prank- there was, after all, a school dance tonight...........


GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. Glad it wasn't bad news, just the same, it gave me heart palpitations.

I don't know if it's possible, after all this time, to keep my stick on the ice. We were trained to keep it at least waiste length, just in case we needed to use it for a weapon, I mean, protection. :lol:
