I'm a Ukranian-American, currently attending university in northern California. I am also a Mac user since the PowerMac/Performa 6500 and often play netgames with exitwound and the clan [OSX] guys.

I've got a G4, but it's this razy cube design that wasn't designed well at all. Apple discontinued it pretty quickly, but I'm stuck with mine until the powers that be pony up some new funds

A G4 Cube, eh? Those were pretty nice machines, despite their limitations and high price tags....lots of upgrades you can put in those things for a pretty reasonable cost, y'know!

Just one thing, though: never, ever all-capitalize the word Mac in front of a Mac user. It's a popular pet peeve 8)

But our IT guy has compleined about the cubes since the day we got them. No problems with the other Macs, but the cubes have some kind of internal design flaw (according to him) that makes maintenance a bitch. They came without fans and he had to install one on mine to keep it from crashing all the time.

we have 10 of the cubes for editors and those who do layouts (i layout some during the week in addition to writing) and there have been problems with each cube. But i like the 20 inch monitor :)
