Ford: New remote start option will reduce harmful emissions by up to 75%

Ford predicts that the remote start system will help the vehicle's exhaust catalyst heat up more quickly, thereby reducing hydrocarbon, carbon monoxide and nitrogen oxide emissions by up to 75 percent. Further, the automaker suggests that a heated steering wheel will increase dexterity in the fingers and hands and reduce the need to wear gloves while driving in the winter. Want to know more? Are you just making shit up as you go? Ford isn't "in the hole", they're doing better than everyone else, and last i checked did not take any of the bailout money from the government.

I do stand corrected on Ford and commend them for NOT taking the bailout...
That said no one is buying eco wacko cars and in fact want the larger gas gusslers...

I never plan to ever buy GM or Chrysler as long as they are govt controlled..
Love my V-8 modified Cougar and even more powerful now that the emission crap has been professionally removed.

People want affordable cars that DON'T "guzzle gas", because gas costs money, and last I heard, money is quite expensive. Only a select few idiots are more concerned with making a statement by taking off the catalytic converter or screwing with the recirculation valve.

By the way, in your zeal to prove you don't know what you're talking about, you assumed that "harmful" meant "harmful to the environment". Car emissions are also harmful to PEOPLE, but then you probably don't believe that either.
