I was just listening to a very interesting lecture from 4 of the best scholars concerning this and it was very interesting. Their seems to be a lot of evidence to their claims. Its peaked my curiosity enough that I am going to research it thoroughly. Any thoughts or info on this greatly appreciated.

I would suggest watching the National Geographic Channel's 2 hour program on the Da Vinci Code and what was behind it. There is actually some good discussions and reasonable people talking on that one.

There are others there and you might also want to read some of the books that dispute what Dan Brown says. They have bits and pieces of good information on the subject in them as well.

A very interesting idea. I have neglected to look into the Da Vinci Code stuff much because I've heard so many refutations of the over-arching ideas presented therein.....but I have also heard from more than a few smart & respected people -- including yourself -- that there is a lot of useful and salient information to be found if one reads between the lines and looks at invidual points made in the book/associated literature.

I guess I'll have to take you up on yr. recommendation! I am always interested in broadening my religious/philosophical horizons.

Me 2 exit no offense to the poster but the Code is fiction. Heres a good read or 2. I would watch that show if I can find it on a stream. I mean its interesting stuff but I'm pretty convinced it is fiction.
