I was intentionally vaque about the warning issue because I thought YOU would be upset about my request that the rules be followed. Yes, I think raw photos of naked people should be posted with a warning in the title. Your post above does not follow that rule. But then you seem hell bent on bucking rules anyway. Maybe that's why the counsel is not offered to you.

Dear Dr. Cat,

Thanks for working things out through PMs. My outburst was not about you and I now realize that first you commented about me, then simply made a nude post. One post included a comment and photo and were not directly related, thus not directed at me. I got tripped up on the two being in the same post I guess. And I sincerely apologize.

To the members:

Let me explain. When I said "A Warning would be nice," I would call this statement a stickler for rules and not any prim or proper moral thing. If I let that part of my personality loose, (Saturn in Virgo) I would be placing post-its every everywhere. It's a rather annoying thing I live with, so I usually keep it under raps. I can see how the inconsistency would also be annoying for those who like consistency. Like if another thread had nudity and no warning why didn't I complain there too?

On the other hand, one person reminded me that legally nudity must be given a Warning when posted publicly.

So it looks like a misunderstanding among all of us, which is so easy to happen in cyberspace with very limited means of communication, simply written words, a few smilies, and our imagined interpretation of each.

One comment about the Piano Man ~ each to his/her own sensibilities. What is for one person goofy or fun-loving sensuality is ewwwie or even vulgar to another. I happen to think seeing a fat butt farting or spraying water is tasteless and not my thing. In some settings I would be embarrassed or apologetic. But I don't make a major moral or judgmental issue over it. LMF's post of a woman's crotch did raise my moral compass. Yet in another setting I might see it as a work of art. I guess we each have our limits or boundaries with this topic.

With these eye-brow raising topics like sex, religion and politics we're bound to touch on points of intolerance among us. Hopefully for most of us the points of connection will bridge the intolerance.

On that note, thanks Cat for asking about the stray kitty, once thought to be a girl thus named "Honey", has now been renamed "Teddy" by Jim because two untampered balls were discovered on his "rear view." :hmmmm: :mrgreen: If Teddy will let me photograph his balls, I'll be sure to post a WARNING. Dr. Cat may require evidence before Honey is given such a radical name change.

Jim no one was saying Baddie did wrong. The only ways I can see that Cat could have got around the fact there was not a warning on the thread, not post the picture or just post a link to the picture with a warning.
Jim there has been a lot of people that have posted pictures without an efficient warning. I have even been told off by people, I saw what was on the thread and thought it would be ok without checking the title. lol
It is not the point if people have seen a penis or two, it is a point that under age people could see the threads and have to give warning.
Also some people use an employer’s computers to look at the post, it is best they are given a warning. Quite a lot of employer are against their computers being used to view porn and they monitor them.
There has been a few times I have changed the title of the thread in the first post to give a warning. I have not said anything to no one, just changed the title.:mrgreen:
